Please note that the Lodge is NOT suitable for children under the age of ten. We can add a single bed to the guest room to sleep ONE child. For a little prince or princess aged 10 to 17 we charge $30 per day.

Yes you can book online !! Have your credit card handy. Please note that the BOOK ONLINE system is for Double Rooms (Queen Bed) only - so if you want a single, a twin room (ie two beds in the room), a triple or the Family Room then you need to email or phone. We do not allocate all our rooms to the BOOK ONLINE system, so if your dates come up as unavailable, then email us and we may be able to accommodate you.

GREAT BARRIER REEF ACCOMMODATION - THE FAMILY ROOM
We can accommodate Families in the main house. Please note that the Lodge is NOT suitable for kids under the age of ten. There are two bedrooms, one has a king size bed and is fully ensuite with a bath as well as a shower. The other bedroom is right next door, and has two single beds, but does not have any ensuite facilities. Both rooms have their own verandah. We can put a third single bed in the non-ensuite room so that a family of five can be accommodated.
The rate for the Family Room, for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 10 to 17, is $190. The rate includes brekky and complimentary drinks (but no beer for the kids !!).
For a third little prince or princess, aged 10 to 17, the cost is an extra $30 per day.

Folks, when you make a booking via the BOOK ONLINE button, that will ask you for a 25% deposit. Similarly if you make a booking via email or over the phone, we'll need a credit card number and we'll take a 25% deposit which is fully refundable. If you cancel within 4 days of arrival you forfeit the deposit, and if you cancel within 48 hours of arrival or you are a 'no show' we'll take the full amount of the booking. So, if your plans change for any reason at all, make sure you let us know as soon as possible.
