Jeff and Makoto outside the best accommodation in Tropical North Queensland. Jeff used to run a charity promotion called Snack Away which has nearly 300 outlets in the Cairns area - but now I think he is something to do with pest control

Ricky and Susan from Townsville ?? or was it Melbourne ?? Unfortunately Sue was a bit crook while she was in Mission Beach, Tropical North Queensland - but I think she is OK now

Dave and Ann from Townsville, but originally from the Mount Isa area. Now this is how most of our guests dress for breakfast !!! What a great couple - and we think that wedding bells are in the air - watch this space

Rod from Melbourne - didn't get lucky on the first night, but went sea kayaking for a week instead, and came back to tell us all about his adventures

Honda Shadow, Tony, Yamaha and Lorraine from Townsville. Both are 'associate' members of the Ulysses Club. Tony is a famous pilot and Lorraine is a busy executive - always flying off to Brisbane

Cathy and Dudley from Brisbane. Both expert aerial photographers, but one is better than the other, and both lengthy conversationalists, but one is better than the other

Adrian, Leanne, Ourania and Jim - all the way from Mena Creek. Came here to see Oz beat the Poms in the RWC Final - but they all ordered humble pie for breakfast. See Queensland Bed Breakfast

Geoff and Hilary from Cairns, but have fond memories of Canberra. Brought their own prawns and proper champagne. Both liked the garden and the gnomes. See Queensland Accommodation

Brock, Chanae and Delma from Perth. Came to tropical north Queensland to see the Perth Wildcats take on the Cairns Taipans. Neither of the girls are the biggest fans of Marcus Timmons.

Kath and Mark from Townsville, with the poshest car ever to grace the Lodge. Came here to celebrate Kath's 21st birthday - and apparently overdid with the wine at Blarney's.

Anita and Michael, celebrity comedy writers from Melbourne and experts in Pop Music. They captained their teams in the annual New Year's Eve Pop Music Quiz - and Anita allowed Michael to win Check out Anita in the BBC comedy Eagle and Evans.

Sian, Dougal and Edward - a trio of local ambassadors from Cooktown. According to them you must visit Cooktown if ever you are in Tropical North Queensland.

Samantha and her beloved Matt from Cairns. Stayed in our wonderful pool till about 2 in the morning (what could they be doing ??). Also did a great job of cleaning the barbie.

Andrew and Alison from inner city Melbourne. Andy is a famous district angel of mercy and Alison is an IT guru. Currently doing a reno rescue on their house.

Kelly and Daniel from Cairns who run a Marlin Fishing Charter company called Moana Fishing Charters. Kelly is admin, and Daniel is the skipper (who can't get over the Poms beating Oz at rugby)

Matt from Canberra, where he is studying Communications. Came to the best Mission Beach accommodation after his uncle's wedding on Dunk Island. I think his favourite word is 'sensational'.

Susan and John from the Sunshine Coast. Our very first Misty Mountains Trail walkers, about to set off for Ravenshoe from Cochable Creek - let's hope they get there OK !!

Lee and Denise from Cairns, both teachers having a well earned break whilst their kids are at camp at Bramston Beach. Another overpaid and underworked couple with lots of holidays !!??

Julian, the best tiler in Queensland, and Georgina, the best teacher in Townsville. They are hoping to open a B & B in Townsville later this year (2004). We wish you every success.

From Sydney, Arthur, a male stripper, and Fleur, his manager. Took time off doing their act to do a 5 day hike on Hinchinbrook, before resuming the road show on Dunk Island and Hamilton Island.
